Dennis has been a taxation partner of Greenwood Challoner & Co, a Director of Greenwoods & Freehills Pty Limited and a foundation partner of its predecessor firm, a Director of his own firm and taxation principal and partner of Andersen and Ernst & Young for a total of 25 years. Since 2007 he has provided Taxation and Business advice as a Director of Oxley Advisers Pty Limited.

Dennis has over 30 years’ experience in advising all facets of tax and business affairs of public and large privately owned corporations and organisations involved in a wide variety of business enterprise. He has advised on the acquisition and restructuring of major commercial business and projects in many different industries, the structuring of domestic and international transactions and the restructuring of the tax affairs of resident companies.

He advises senior executives of public and privately owned companies and entities in relation to their taxation affairs, together with analysis of various alternatives in respect of their tax positions under various arrangements. He also advises high net wealth and high income individuals and their controlled entities in respect of taxation planning issues and their taxation responsibilities.

He provides all necessary services and advice in respect of taxation matters for all legal entities and individuals including all necessary compliance issues and manages the firm’s responsibilities as Tax Agent in Australia.

Dennis also provides pro-bono advice in respect of the formation and continuation of charitable, benevolent and philanthropic organisations.

Joshua first worked as a graduate at BW Capital Pty Ltd, a wealth advisory firm, for 2 years following the completion of his Bachelor of Commerce degree at Macquarie University. At BW Capital Pty Ltd he gained a knowledge in financial planning and wealth management which he has carried into his accounting and tax career at Oxley Advisers Pty Limited.

Joshua has worked with Oxley Advisers Pty Limited as an accountant and tax adviser since 2010. For over 9 years, he has gained a diverse range of skills and knowledge in accounting and tax and continues to develop these in line with changes taking place in the accounting and taxation sector.

He is experienced in the area of tax compliance and regularly prepares and lodges income tax returns and activity statements for a wide variety of entities, including individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs. He also has many years of accounting experience, including accounts maintenance, transaction processing, preparation of financial reports and analysis of financial reports.

He provides advice to entities in respect of taxation matters and ensures that they understand their taxation responsibilities in accordance with the relevant tax legislation.

Joshua was appointed as a director of Oxley Advisers Pty Limited in January 2020, is a registered Tax Agent, completed the Chartered Accountants (CA) program with the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia in 2013 and completed the Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) program with The Tax Institute in 2019.
